短期呼吸冥想训练改善抑郁程度有效性

摘要

目的:探讨短期呼吸冥想训练改善抑郁等情绪的有效性。方法: 招募52名志愿者参加为期14天的冥想训练,发送冥想音频请志愿者自行练习,并进行前后测的行为及问卷数据收集。结果: 冥想组抑郁水平显著下降,控制组的抑郁水平没有显著差异;未完成训练组焦虑水平和消极情绪水平均显著高于完成训练组;相关性分析发现STROOP值与正念水平存在的显著负相关。结论:短期呼吸冥想训练能够改善抑郁水平,心智游移水平可预测正念水平。

Effectiveness of Short-term Training of Breathing Meditation in Depression Improvement

Abstract

Effectiveness of short-term training of breathing meditation to improve depression and other adverse emotions is studied. Fifty two volunteers were recruited for a 14-day period of meditation training. Volunteers were sent breathing meditation audio every day, to allow them to practice meditation by themselves. Behavior and questionnaire data were collected both before and after the 14-day training. After training the meditation group showed a significant reduction in the level of depression compared to before, while the control group showed no significant difference. The un-completed group had more anxiety and negative emotions than completed training group. Correlation analysis revealed that value of reaction time difference in the STROOP pre-test had a significant negative correlation with mindfulness level in the post-test. It is concluded that for people with a medium level of anxiety and negative emotions, short-term systematic breathing training improves their level of depression. The level of mindfulness can be predicted through behavior index of mind wandering level.
